Starting with a seasonal pumpkin grilled pizza, grilled octopus salad at Al Forno
Next course - linguini with egg, duck bacon and pea tendrils. Finished the savories with spicy clam roast with hot sausage and mash potatoes and a plate of grilled vegetables. For desert we had the signature grand cookie finale and a kumquat and orange meringue tart.
Frank Pepe's White Clam Pizza.
Finally tried a white clam pizza at the famous Frank Pepe's of New Haven. Definitely worth the stop (and maybe the wait if you get there late).
