Just arrived at Patowmack Farm which specializes in seasonal and organic food. The view is spectacular, overlooking the Potomac River and Point of Rocks Bridge. To celebrate Man of Pawtucket's oldest brother's birthday, we had the 5 course chef tasting menu.
1.Patowmack Farm Summer Salad- mixed berries, garden herbs, yogurt consommé jelly, basil cloud.
2. Soft cooked farm egg- fresh summer truffles, raclette cheese, frisee
3. Catalan Suquet of lobster and cuttlefish- soft carolina grits, veal meatballs, nepitella
Intermezzo - berry sorbet
4. Coffee roasted duck breast- duck confit pastilla, wilted spinach, blueberry espresso glaze
5. Carnelized cheese cake- mixed wild berries, pineapple sage creameaux, elder blossoms
